Inspiration in Unusual Places - The Best Dressed at the Golden Globes
/One of my favorite things about the Golden Globes is to see all of the beautiful gowns that the stars are wearing. Although these beautifully designed dresses aren't every-day wear, they can be used as inspiration for our interiors. Julianne Moore wore a graphic black and white gown by Tom Ford. The dining table legs in gold bring the angular lines to an otherwise soft-edged room.
Kerry Washington wore this unique mid-length dress by Miu Miu. A relatively simple silhouette is embellished with with a beautiful feather-like pattern. This simple entryway is dressed up with a sparkly chandelier.
Kate Hudson walks the red carpet in a striking Alexander McQueen. A room with dark walls can seem larger with a floor length mirror. Dress it up with gold frames and accessories to create and even more dramatic look.
Chanel was a perfect fit for Anne Hathaway. This all-white, sequined gown was a classic choice. An all-white bathroom done in carrera marble is another classic - beautiful and timeless.
